As one of the most successful independent consumer co-operatives in the UK, Lincolnshire Co-operative are proud to be able to offer a wide range of services from their trading divisions, including Food stores, Filling Stations, Pharmacies, Funeral, Post Offices, Florists and Travel.
The Society has been trading for over 150 years and has over 200 branches, a membership of over 285,000, employees 2,800 people and has an annual turnover of £329 million.
Bespoke solutions for the unique requirements
In-Tech Solutions have been working with Lincolnshire Co-operative for in excess of 15 years and have provided them with reliable, intuitive and easy to use solutions from our portfolio, as well as bespoke solutions for the unique requirements of the society.
Easy and simple manipulation of product data
This includes our CHOISE Product and Pricing Maintenance solution at Head Office which manages the import of product and pricing data from suppliers and the Co-operative Group, allowing easy and simple manipulation of product data before updating the entire Food estates systems. Additionally CHOISE is also implemented in all the society’s Pharmacy branches, providing full EPOS functionality but also includes our Wholesale and Distribution systems which run the society’s Pharmacy Distribution Centre and Wholesale operations.
Dividend card allows members to collect dividend with a simple scan at the tills
One significant solution provided by In-Tech Solutions is our Dividend application which Lincolnshire Co-operative use across their entire estate. With more than 285,000 members the Dividend card allows members to collect dividend with a simple scan at the tills. Today it still has pride of place in pockets, wallets and purses along with the dividend card key fob and app. More than £62.5 million in dividend has been shared with members since it was created two decades ago.
Co-op members are benefiting from £4.1 million of dividend paid back onto their cards
The card marked an important step when it was launched in 1998, before customers had collected stamps as they shopped and these stamps could be saved up in a book and spent in the Society’s outlets.
This year, Lincolnshire Co-op members are benefiting from £4.1 million of dividend paid back onto their cards - including a share of a £1.9 million bonus.
